Feed and Water in the Winter.

This is in no way an upbeat post today. I went outside to feed and water the neighbors cat because they're gone. It was 18 degrees here today. While I was out I found a dead cat,not ours, in the barn. I don't know what happened to it. However, I want to use this time to remind everyone if its freezing temperatures outside animals can't get food and water unless we give it to them.

Water freezes quickly even after you put it out for them. You need to water twice a day and make sure they get to it. Even the birds today went nuts when I fed them. The ground was froze over with ice and snow. Birds couldn't get to the things they eat normally.

Basically, take our responsibility to the wild and domestic animals to heart. Take care of them all.
